Our host took us from Haftkul to the shared taxi stand in Penjakent where we are rushed in a car. Four hours later, we are in the capital city.
The most important thing on our schedule here is arranging our permits to stay in Tajikistan for longer than 10 days and for Gorno-Badakhshan. And finally finding a goddamn antique suzani.
With our bellies full of Kurutob - a welcome change from Plov - we roughly plan our travels through the Pamir. And we leave the city without a suzani.
